hi folks

have not been active here lately.... but I resumed prep from today.I did some more letter "A" words today...from  barrons world list..almost finished with "A" words.and did some quant too.

Time spent : 3 hours

book: Barrons

Sections: 

              Verbal : "A" letter words....

               Quant : DI tactics and the practice questions that followed...

                            i also did more questions on DI from other books however they are not GRE prep material

Practice Test : took a "sentence completion " test on majortests.com

                      but i scored (3 points on 10 point scale)below average (3.09)

which clearly indicates i need to strengthen my voacbulary  first....

suggestions to improve on any aspect are welcome....

i didnt do much today....because of  festivities nd diwali celebrations around

I did half the world list of letter "A" from Barrons though......
i think i would not even have done this much....if there wasn't this constant voice in my head going "What will u update on the blog...u have not done anythng for two days straight"
I am going to b regular from the day after though...
and will  work out a schedule in the meantime....

Hi people.This is Saumya,as this is my first post so PLEASE put up with any slips and misses....
I am from U.P. ,India.I have lived here all my life..did my high school and undergrad from here.My latest qualification B.tech in Electronics and Instrumentation, completed June 2011.
I had planned to go for GRE since last semester of B.tech..but due to lack of proper information and I   must admit sheer thick-headedness on my part have not yet been able to enroll for GRE.I had lost all enthusiasm to prepare in last few months...had not received my passport (for which i applied in july)and well everyone around me discouraged me to go for it.  But the recent developments in the movie of my life  are once again egging me on to try with all my might for the exam.(The relevant events being 1. I am planning to take the exam in March/April 2012. My target score not yet decided thats because I am thinking of finishing with the word lists and the formulas and tricks in quant to startwith.
